Honda Civic Estilo 4WD Ini Punya Target 800 Dk Untuk 'Main' di Kelas FFA
KabarOto.com - Bagi Sobat Kabaroto pecinta drag race, tentunya tak asing dengan penampakan Honda Civic Estilo yang mendominasi balap lurus 402 meter itu. Selain tenaganya yang relatif besar, bodinya pun terbilang enteng dan modelnya tak lekang oleh zaman.
Nah, di Indonesia sendiri banyak Estilo yang menggunakan livery bermacam-macam untuk membedakan masing-masing mobil. Seperti 'Ghost Buster' yang diwakili joki Reindy 'BTX' Riupassa yang sudah malang melintang di dunia balap mobil dari slalom, drag race, drifting dan lainnya.
"Ya, biasanya saya balap pakai Evo (Mitsubishi), kali ini saya mau buat sesuatu yang baru dengan Honda Civic Estilo," buka Reindy saat diwawancara Kabaroto. Pria yang akrab dengan panggilan Botak ini juga ingin mencari solusi dengan mobil penggerak roda depan yang selama ini mayoritas dengan grip di aspal sirkuit lokal yang memprihatinkan.
"Banyak yang bikin mobil front wheel drive dengan tenaga yang 'gila', namun kendalanya adalah traksi pada ban yang tak bagus. Makanya saya coba buat sesuatu sebagai solusi, yakni menjadikan Estilo ini 4WD dengan target tenaga 800 dk," ujar pria yang bermukim di kawasan Jakarta Selatan ini.

Mesin mobil ini sudah diganti menggunakan H23A1 yang sudah melalui proses Porting polishing & balancing. Pistonnya sudah dibuat custom order sesuai kebutuhan dengan rasio 9,8:1 dengan aplikasi turbocharger dari Precision berkode PTE 6785 CEA gen II.
Dapur pacu tersebut dikawinkan dengan girboks CR-V 5-speed generasi pertama lengkap dengan transfer case-nya. Rear drive shaft-nya menggunakan Insane Shaft yang diklaim tahan geber hingga tenaga 1.000 dk.
Kinerja mesin diatur oleh komputer Haltech Elite 750 EMS, sedangkan urusan suplai bahan bakar dipasok oleh Aeromotive fuel pump A1000 lengkap dengan fuel pressure regulator-nya dan disemprot kedalam mesin oleh Fuel Injector Clinic low impedance 1.800cc.
kaki-kakinya dipercantik dengan pelek balap BelaK Industry Series 13 inci x 9 inci di bagian depan dan 15 inci x 6,75 inci di bagian belakang serta dibalut ban M&H Race Master 24,5 inci Dot 5.
"Meski spek drag race, tapi memperindah tampilan mobil dengan fitment & setup kaki-kaki yang proper itu wajib, agar tetap enak dilihat. Setelah 2 kontes modifikasi ini, saya bakal mengincar kelas 'neraka' atau FFA dan targetnya bisa dapat waktu yang enggak kalah dengan Evo," tutup pria stylish itu. Good luck, bro!
